I've come to realize that it's the only way I can keep track of things like movies. I tried to do that in my calendar last year, managed till early September and then it just... faded or something. It's somehow so much easier on LJ. My trick is to keep it on the top/sidebar so that every time I look at my LJ I see a link to it, and am reminded that I should check if it's up-to-date.
